Sorry this took forever. I got a 1/8" metal drill bit, a 1/8" pipe tape to thread the hole and a 3/16" plug from the auto parts store. I put Teflon tape on the plug and cranked it on. I had a 1/8" plug, it won't bite in the pan, just kept spinning. It has been perfect ever since.
