Default M5OD shifter bushings replaced, no help!

As the title says, I replaced the shifter bushing on my 02 Ranger the other morning. Had about 3" of shifter slop in gear, now has about 3" of shifter slop in gear. Thought I might have missed something when I did the job, so I took it apart again and put is back together. Still no help.
I put the washers, spring washers, spacers and boot in new.
It has 138000 on it.
Question is, what next, shifter tower, shift rods, shift forks?

I suspect shift fork wear. Extreme shift fork wear. Only way to get at 'em to check 'em out, is droppin' the trans.

Thank you.
That kind of confirms my thought too.

Problem Solved! Thank You for the help!
Went back to investigate the problem again, before pulling the transmission.
Found the cross bolt that holds the upper shift lever to the lower lever was not completely seated, turn the flat to the proper direction, tightened it up, and no more slop.
