Front wheels won't turn in 4x4
I have a 96 ranger xlt with 4.0 engine...when I turn the switch the 4x4 indicator lights do come on, and I can hear the "thunk" underneath, but the wheels don't turn...does this sound like broken hubs or something?

not very expensive and fairly easy to replace
most people do a Manual hub conversion or a live axle conversion instead of replacing the PVH hubs
