Default 4x4 problem
I know this is for rangers but my brother has a 1996 explorer and he has auto 4wd and 4low. And sometimes the 4x4 light on the gauge cluster will start flashing and it'll kick out of auto. He has a solid front axle Amy help?

It mite be the shift motor in the t-case went out.
