Default Front End Rebuild Kit

Hey guys. So my ball joint boots (upper and lower) and tie rod boots are cracking. There is no play in my wheel (tested it by jacking the car up and shaking the tire) so they are still good but they squeek. I sprayed white grease in them for now and the squeeking went away, but it is only time till they go.

My question is do you guys have a suggestion for a front end rebuild kit?

I looked around and the best I could find is this but idk how good it is...
http://dapartstore.com/index.php/mak...-tie-rods.html

It is for a 2001 B3000 4X4

Thanks for the help

I am getting ready to work on my front end as well. I am sure both ball joints are shot, all kind of noise and play. Will look at the tie rod and other bushings when I get under her.

While you have it taken apart, should just replace everything within reach, right?

I will probably head over to Advanced for some Moog parts. Sounds like they are recommended by most on this forum.

Rockauto has good prices on moog ball joints and tierod ends. A plus on the moog uppers is that once you buy the new arms you can just replace the ball joint and not the whole arm next time.

I an pretty sure the 98 99 and 2000 have the snap ring in the UCA that allows just the bj replacement .

I know my rubber is all cracked on everything (ball joints, bushings, and tie rod ends) so I will just replace it all... Since it will be apart, you might as well (I have 100k miles on her).

I am just concerned about getting a well made kit with quality pieces. The kit I found doesnt say OEM so I am looking for another kit...

If you have the tools, then the internet will give you the best price. But, if you need the special tool to remove/replace lower ball joints then you might save yourself a lot of trouble by going to a parts dealer like Autozone. They'll loan you the tools, no charge.

I was thinking about buying the tool to remove the ball joint since it will pay for itself. Then I have it to do my other vehicles and its only $50ish...

Prob is I cant seem to find an online rebuild kit that is OEM.
