Default power steering pump

how hard is it to change on my truck? and i think its needs to be changed because of the winding noise it makes and its has fluid in it so?

THEY ARE VERY EASY TO CHANGE. FORD PS PUMPS WHINE, YOU COULD GET A TURKEY BASTER( I HAVE A PIECE OF HOSE THAT I STICK AT THE END OF THE BASTER AN THAT WAY I CAN PUT THE HOSE ALL THE WAY TO THE BOTTOM OF THE PUMP) AND SUCK THE FLUID OUT OF THE PUMP THEN REPLENISH WITH MERCON/ATF. DO THIS A FEW TIMES. MAKE SURE YOUR BELT IS GOOD IF YOU REPLACE IT GET A GOODYEAR GATORBACK BELT. i JUST BOUGHT TONE AT AZ FOR $29

I highly suggest a good year gatorback. I have a belt tensioner tool which is really just a long flat rod with a 3/8 rather head on it . I think you just use a 3/8 ratchet and a pipe if yo have it.(some might be 1/2 inch, not sure) relieve the the pressure on the tensioner with the ratchet. slide the belt off. put the new belt on and relieve the tension as you slide it onto the final pulley. the project is very easy.
