I've been doing some research on a future re-gear and I'm getting confused. Different sites list an AMC Model 35 standard rotation and a Dana "super" 30 Ford for the front axle.

What axle should I be looking at for parts? This is for the 2011 Ranger, which I believe uses the same front axle as the 1998+ models and the Explorer Sport models. The rear axle is easy but the front has to match the back and I can't do that unless I know what gears to order for it when the time comes.

Front axle in these trucks (98 and up) are a ford specific dana 35...it's a slight bastard child when it comes to the diff

And it should be standard rotation

I thought it was a 35 but the info on the sites that make/sell the the gears can be as clear as mud.
