Same as what you had but that gear oil is now contaminated by ATF making it useless

I replaced my tranny fluid last week with Mobil 1 Synthetic ATF. The stick glides through the gears now. I'm completely happy with the results.

I turned over 100K that day and decided to change it while I was doing an oil change. The previous owner obviously had never changed the ATF. What came out looked like coffee.

I ran Mobil 1 fs in my m5od too. I still say we should find out what tranny he has? Maybe I missed it?

He has a '94 2.3L with 5 speed. I'm at work, so I don't know if the tranny is the same.

Whoa! My bad.

Hope he gets all that gear oil out of there. That's a lot of ATF fluid down the drain to flush it out.
