Crazy driveshaft rattle
I was easing around the yard today and heard a rattling sound. it sounded like a rock in the centercap so i popped them off and nothing, then realized it was under me. jack the back up and realized it is coming from inside the driveshaft!!! I work on cars for a living but i have never seen this before. i even pulled the driveshaft to make sure and it is something in there rattling around. the only thing i can think is that it is a piece of slag that got knocked loose. it is a aluminum driveshaft too, or i would cut the end off and look. but i can not weld aluminum. any of you guys heard of this? i guess i am going to go to the junk yard this weekend and see if i can get one.
