Cool

HI!... Well I got my rear disc set-up. This uses the COBRA 12" vented rear rotors and COBRA calipers. I still have to get the COBRA flex lines and notch the caliper brackets so they mount behind the axle flange.

HI!... I will need to modify them to look like this :

My photoshop skills suck! LOL!

HI!... I did a trial fit on my truck a few days ago and it seems my stock 15's still fit over the COBRA rear set-up. It all depends on the design of the rim. My Centerline "CONVO PRO'S" are 15" and they clear by like a 1/4". The COBRA caliper is like 1mm from touching the stock 15" rim. Nothing a grinder won't fix on the caliper. My calipers have a small raised casting on them. I figure if I take the casting off I should have about a 1/8" room to spare which is plenty. I'll know once I do the final install.

HI!... Well I finally installed my COBRA rear disc brake set-up on the weekend. Took about 3 hours. I had to slightly grind the calipers. About a 1/16 of an inch in one spot to clear my 15" factory rims. They didn't rub but they were VERY close to so I decided to give them a bit more room. Everything seems to work O.K so I'll be tearing everything back down this Sat and will be painting everything. Here's a few pics.

HI!... Well this weekend I got everything all sandblasted and painted up. Got the E-brakes hook up as well.

Where did you get the caliper brackets and what did you use to cut them?

HI!... I got the COBRA calipers off e-bay for $198 for the pair, new. The rest of the kit was also bought off Ebay for $150. I think I got about $425(CAN) in the conversion.

HI!... I got the caliper brackets in the kit pictured above. I used a 4-1/2" disc grinder with a 1/16" zip blade. Cut through it like butter.
