Default automatic Transmission Whines when in low/reserve /slipping to 2nd under torque

Hello, I started a new thread hoping the title change might draw someone who's had the same issue.

I have a auto Transmission that has a rather higher pitch whining noise when In low gear and Reverse (seems slightly louder in reverse)
it also slips from 1st to 2nd and seldomly to 3rd (haven't noticed slip to fourth. If I have the throttle open more than 30% It will slip, then slam into 2nd.

I've allready dumped in half a can of seafoam transtune, it seemed to help the shifting be a bit smoother by approx 20%, but the whining is the same if not 5% worse.

I'm suspecting It may be directly related to the low/reverse band, and perhaps the servo related?

My current thought is Installing a shift kit, replacing what I drain out with synthetic ATF (for heat resistance) & replacing the band servo. If that doesn't solve it I'd dump in lucas stop slip. but holding out for advice.

ok, I need fast advice. The noise Just suddenly got much worse and sounds like a damned teapot whistling.

ok It definitely only does not do it on cold starts, or after idling 15 minutes, seems only to do it when its been driven for a while.

also, the whining noise is only noticeable in forward/reverse with foot on brake, BAD TC maybe?, also plan to look for modulator diaphram in morning

I may be busing until i can figure this out =(
I notice this http://www.ford-trucks.com/tsb/tsb.p...y-1997/t-98514 for the 5r55E/4r44E and they look very smilar to mine despite being 5 gear. perhaps related?
