Default 2000 ranger when put in drive there is a delay but when i put it in 1th gear
2000 ranger 3.0 auto tranny when i put it in drive there is a 30 second delay if i put it 1th gear an then shift it in drive it fine shift nice an everything. reverse works fine also.help please

Could be bad tq converter, blown separator plate also

was this problem solved ? I am having a very similar issue. I haven't tried the shifting into 1st then drive yet.
