My son [Good hearing] hears a ticking noise from the front wheel or axle when cornering. He can't tell from which side. I can't hear it. [Bad hearing] The CV joint boots look good. No noise when you spin the wheels with the car raised. Is the outer shaft turning when 4X4 is not engaged? Is the whole front drive shaft inner and outer turning? Any Ideas on the ticking noise? some of you know all about this system.
