so i rolled my 88 ranger and am in the process of turning it into a mud truck i have a 351 windsor zf5 5 speed tranny and idk what the transfer case is it was on the zf5. anyway i have a dana 44 for the front axle but dont know what to put in the rear? Just a Ford 9 icnh? its just gonna be for play

just for play what about a dana 60 it would do well with a mud truck

how big are you goin with the lift and tires? dana 60 will prolly be way to big for what your doing. a ford 9 inch will be fine for the rear and a D44 in the front
