Hey guys!
I have an 04 2.3L 5 speed manual with the 3.73 rear. I recently put 31" tires on and now it is SUPER hard to get moving on a hill with the air on! I live in las vegas but will be traveling up to reno often for school. What ratio can i regear to so that my truck will have more power and so that i can do 70mph with the ac on up hill?? Thanks for your help!
Minimum 4.10's
For the 4 banger, 4.56 may be ideal for what you want. Highway Mpg will go down with 4.56 compared to 4.10., however it will feel snappier.
4.10 was good enough for my dads 2wd to get back to "stock feeling" with 235's. 4.56 probably would be best.

Ok so i regeared to 4.56 and the truck runs amazing! It is so peppy! But will i go back to the slow sad days if i change to 33s? How much of that pep will i lose?
