Default Noise in transmission when in nuetral

This is my first post on here, always read these forums from google and finally decided to get one. Anyway, my 5 spd transmission makes a noise in nuetral and the engien is bogged down a little, like when ac is runnimg or I push in thebrakes and turn in place. It doesnt make the noise if I do any of these things with the clutch pushed in. so my question is, what is causing the noise?

Check the oil in your trans, it could be empty, or the input shaft bearing is going out with or without a full oil level.

When the clutch is pushed in the input shaft doesn't turn, so if a bad bearing, no noise.

Even though it only does it if the engine is under a load, like with the A/C on or the wheel turned all the way and brakes pressed? It doesnt do until it's under about 800 rpm
