With a lowered truck, it's pure bolt in. No welding of spring perches, and the parking brake cable bolts right up too. On a stock height or lifted truck, the parking brake cable is a bit too short, and you need extra work. Also with a bit of creativity and bending, you can use a pair of driver side expo spring plates and some extra hardware to mount the shocks. If you have the capability, welding on shock mounts is easier, but you have to remove the Expo sway bar mounts to do that, since they go in pretty much the same place on the tube. With a little more creativity, you can bolt up the Expo sway bar too. Remember though, the Expo axle is about 1.5" wider than the Ranger axle, so your wheels will stick out just a bit further.
Basically, weather lifted or lowered, there are a few people on here that have done it, and we can answer any questions you may have about the install.
