Look under the truck, if the lines leaking you can see it, look under the dash, are you getting fluid on the carpet, if so the master cyl is leaking.

There is no fluid in carpet and I don't see fluid under truck and I have to add it every day at least twice. If it sits for a while the pedal goes to the floor and still has fluid in the resvor. Any thoughts. Been wet in Houston area so it's hard to look for fluid but will pull plug off at trans to see if I see anything there. Could it be where it connects there? Thanks

I know that you said that you don't see any underneath the truck, but look again to see if there's any fluid leaking from the side of the transmission. If so, you have another bad slave cylinder. If you're losing fluid, you either have a ruptured line, a bad master cylinder (would be leaking fluid onto the carpet), or a bad slave cylinder (would be leaking fluid out of the side of the transmission). I hope you get it figured out. I know how frustrating slave cylinders and master cylinders can be. I've had to drive my truck in the same manner I drive an 18 wheeler (gear floating) whenever my slave cylinder went bad, and again when my master cylinder decided to give up.

hey, i just went through this same thing.... its probably a bad seal on the slave cylinder itself, not where the hose connects.... if u sit in ur driveway and pump the clutch a lot, you will see hydraulic fluid pouring out of a little space in the bottom of your tranny where the bell housing meets the engine....

Ya need to pickup a disconnect tool (small fork type thing) to make it the easiest. I bought a metal one, was about 6 bucks. Some slaves will come with a plastic tool to do so.
