Default 07 4x4 transmission slipping question

I have an 2007 4x4 with a 4.0 an an automatic transmission. Sometimes when I am idling in a drive, back out in reverse, put the truck in drive the RPM's rev up and the truck then jerks into gear. I am making sure the I am at a complete stop before changing direction. If I do not hit the gas you can feel the truck go into gear after a moment. Any thoughts or advice would be helpful.

I have heard of other people experiencing this also. Mine has done it once in awhile

I have not had any transmission problems either with my truck

Thanks for the reply. I am hoping that it is not a precursor to a bigger problem I still have a few miles and months left on the waranty
