Re: Replaced Clutch now won't shift
Did you remove the shifter when you dropped the trans out, if so you might have got it back in the wrong groove. If you didn't remove the shifter, did you bump it during removal or replacement.

Re: Replaced Clutch now won't shift
He would have had to remove the shifter, with that being said, was it in N before you pulled it out! if it was in gear, you will need to try and get the stick back in the gear it is in...

Re: Replaced Clutch now won't shift
I replaced my clutch as well, and I am experiencing the same issues. I've bled the hydraulic line, but when I try to shift all I get is resistance. On FIRST and REV gear I can tell things are moving around as the truck moves a little.
How did you solve your issue?

Re: Replaced Clutch now won't shift
You need to get all of the air out of the system.

Re: Replaced Clutch now won't shift
I have completed that already and I am still having issues.
I made sure the cylider never let more into the system.
It was weird what I first opened the bleeder vavle, it was clogged with a white colored grease. But is flows clear now after I had stepped on the clutch to more or less blow it out.

Vacuum bleed the system. From what I've herd is about the only way to get all the air out.

Re: Replaced Clutch now won't shift
If you replaced the slave cylinder it's possible air may be trapped where the line comes over the frame and the only ways to get the air out are to vacuum bleed the system or pull the clutch master cylinder out and bench bleed it.

I didn't replace the slave cylinder. Just the two plates of the clutch. I suppose I'll have to get the vacuum. :-/

Re: Replaced Clutch now won't shift
As posted before, did you re install your shifter correctlym there are three bars in the shift tower. All three move back and forth. If it's stuck in reverse you could have installed it in the groves, but not the correct one.

Re: Replaced Clutch now won't shift
SGT Oxnard you did what I did today. Did you have someone pump the pedal?

Re: Replaced Clutch now won't shift
If he didn't touch the hydraulic system that is not the issue.
