First, he has a 4x4 truck.
You will need to jack up remove tires.
Next, remove the brake caliper and associated parts.
Now if it has not come off already, remove hub.
There is a snap ring on the inner axle shaft, remove this. There should be 2 or 3 washers behind it.
Next, remove the axle nut. There are two that are locked against one another. Start with the outer most nut. Use a flat tip and a hammer to knock it around. Or, you can buy the FORD removal tool.
Once the nut is off, slide the washer with the holes in it off. Followed by the 2nd nut.
You can now pull the rotor off. The front wheel bearings will most likely fall out.
The rear bearing is in the back of the rotor. There is a seal that will need to be removed and most likely damaged.
Once the bearings are removed, use a good synthetic water proof grease. Put a glob in your hand and proceed to mash the bearing in the grease. (Refer to video)
After bearings are repacked, reinstall. Make sure to get a new seal.
