Dana 35.

I can be geared to whatever you want....as long as it's the same as the rear.

You've got a Dana Model 35....sometimes called an M35 because it's metric(so I'm told). It's a combination hybrid of a Dana 30 and Dana 35. The carrier is a specific carrier that lockers designed for a jeep d35 don't fit it.

Available ratios are 3.73, 4.10, 4.56, 4.88. with 4.88 being the deepest available in this particular axle. There may be other ratios available, but anything less than 3.73, 4x4's dont care about. lol.

Is the front spline the same as the rear? Or is it 27 spline?

Not on a Ranger...

I think the Jeep 35 and the Ranger front 35 share the same splines of 26 or 27, though I'm not too positive on the count.

Gears for a Jeep 35 fit the front front 35. Standard cut dana 35.
