Thumbs down Tranny code Solenoid B Performance/stuck

I ran my check engine codes that came up today at school. This tranny code came up. Does anyone know what it is, and on top of that would that fact its -33 maybe have something to do with it? I need to get it fixed before I drive 900 miles home!

Some more background, I cleared the codes on the truck to see if it comes back. But I wanted to know if anyone has experienced that code before or what. Truck seems to run just fine so I'm trying to figure out if it is a really serious thing or not.

So the truck runs fine even when the tranny gets good and hot?

Throws the code, but the tranny honestly runs like nothing is wrong at all.

your solenoids in your tranny could be going bad. I dont believe they are that hard to change. They may last until you get home. They wont start acting up until the tranny gets hot I believe. I could be wrong though.

Yeah that's kinda my thought, but if it could cause a problem I want to get it taken care of now. I only have 58000 miles on the truck. I wish it was a manual lol

I suggest a tranny service. If it has a solenoid getting weak, it will absolutely fail at high temperatures. If you need any help in this area, feel free to let me know. Please understand that just because it "feels fine" doesn't mean it is. If it is pulling a code, we have an issue. Need to kow all the tranny codes it is pulling and I can walk you threw the repair or give you information.

This thread is ancient! I did get it fixed, funny, it showed up after I had the tranny serviced. Ended up being appartently nothing, I now have the factory manuals to, that help me trouble shoot the issue. I keep it monitored though. Thank you for the assistance and I'll look you up if I need something more with it.
