Default 54 miles after I replaced the seals I have no forward gears.

'97 2.3L 4R44E 2wd 355,400 miles.
I replaced the front and real seals and the filter on the transmission and I've been driving it for 6 days. I've driven 54 miles in that time with the longest trip being 12 miles. Yesterday I came out of a store and noticed a leak where the lower cooler line attaches to the radiator. I checked the fluid level and it was still in the crosshatches so I drove it home(2 miles). I tightened the nut and than drove it about a half mile to a flat place and checked the level again. It was about a quarter inch up on the stick. I added about 3/4 of a quart and checked again and I was above the cross hatches about 1/4 inch. I drove about 2 miles and checked it again and it was still the same level. I backed out of the parking spot and put it in drive and got nothing. I put it in reverse and backed up some more and still got nothing in drive. It sounded like something was binding. I didn't want to press the issue so I just backed up about 100 yards to get it over in the corner of the parking lot and out of the way. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
