4X4 problem

I have a 94 4X4 4.0. When I push the 4x4 button i hear a click and can feel that the transfer case is engaged. But, I have a strong pull to the right in high or low 4x4. When I punch the gas the rear spens like it is in 2wd. I get no spinning of the front even on wet grass or snow like today. Could anyone help? I do feel that the transfer case has engaged to low when turned on. Have thought about switching to manual lock hubs.

i had this problem om a f250 but it was a vacume leak i don't know if these run off vacume off not
