Re: had a little problem when i was mudding
Haha welded diffs are the best, When I worked at jiffy lube and I still had my 2wd we had a circle parking lot around the building that was seal-paved. And anytime it rained we would drift around the building. But yeah. The weld on my spider gears would break sometimes when the road was dry.. . . You probably shouldnt do it with a DD but you can.... haha =D
And Edgeman4.0.....
As long as you have a shovel, a 4 foot 6x6 and a winch, you can get out of anything.

How much space does he need to get a run at stuff without getting stuck, though?

Re: had a little problem when i was mudding
Wheeling with 2WD when you're with buddies who don't mind pulling you out is fun, doing it alone is moronic though.
On the topic of open diffs, My old wrangler had open front and rear diffs, even in 4WD there was a hill that I couldnt get enough traction to get back up. If you cant get back, Keep going forward.

Re: had a little problem when i was mudding
I think 2wd mudding FTL, 2wd mudding means going around trying to crash into everything and that means broken stuff.
