Default rattling after new TQ intalled?

ok i just had a new Torque converter installed in my 1997 ranger, now it rattles when it is in park sometimes, and a vibration comes from under the truck when i barely take off from about 0-5 mph then it goes away. any idea what it could be? i had a certified mechanic do it.

i dont know much about transmissions, but i would guess maybe a bolt is loose?
hows the fluid lvl?
i would take it back to the mechanic.

Not positive but it may not be perfectly centered with the crankshaft. I know that when I install a trans, there is a little bit of play in the holes in the flex plates, and if it's not centered perfect it will cause some issues. Also there are a bunch of checks, and measurements that are supposed to be done to the flywheel housing on the engine prior to installation. Most techs don't do these checks unless there is something obviously wrong, myself included. You could have gotten a bad tc. There might be a loose mount bolt or bad u-joint, or the drive line might have gotten messed up. More importantly, why did you replace the tc in the first place? I would take it back and demand it be repaired at no cost.
