Cut out the broken sections and replace with high pressure rubber hose. Problem solved.

What it has had done before is irrelevant. You're removing anything that is bad and replacing it something that doesn't rust or rot. If the fittings at the end where it attaches to the radiator are shot, you should replace those too.

You need the fittings that thread into the radiator and the transmission, and a few inches of steel tubing to go on each fitting. Then you need rubber hose that will slide over those little stubs of tubing and hose clamp them on. Unless they make fittings with stubs for hoses built onto them?
