Can you suggest me some that are reasonably priced? Give me a few options, I will be checking my local auto parts store.


I will not have the truck forever, 5 years maximum probably.

Rotors run about $50 each and pads run from $20 -$40 depending on your choice. I like semi-metallic, they run in the middle, like $30.

Also, some rangers when you replace the rotors require that you disassemble the wheel bearing. My 97 Ford Ranger RWD had me pull out the wheel bearing when I did my rotor replacement for my front pads. There's some really good resources on the board on how to repack bearings and the torque needed for preloading them. Oh and don't forget about that anti-rust compound they spray on all new rotors.
