Smile Rear Brake Help

Hello all! I am seeking some pics or diagrams on how to assemble rear brakes on a 2002 Ranger Edge with 10 " drums. I have just purchased the truck and had to replace rear brakes as well as e-brake. I realized that all the e-brake components have been removed. Need some diagrams on how to reassemble hold down kit and adjuster kit. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I just did my brakes last weekend. Attached are before pics (1-3) and after (pic4).

I have an 03 fx4, with 10" drums

when you said the ebrake was disconnected, is the cable and metal bracket there or missing?

If it's there, it fits it the hole on the shoe right above the spring with the longer arm (pic1 - left side of picture) its hard to see, but its a rivit that you put a horseshoe type clamp on and bend the ends so it won't come off.

the horseshoe clamps come in the spring kit.

look at same spot on pic3, it's a little clearer.
pic 4 is pic of completed brake. but does not show ebrake connection

I forgot to say, do one side at a time, so you can look when putting back together.

take pics before so you can verify your doing it the right.

buy and use the brake tools

Take it slow and double check yourself. I did it, so you can do it!!

I know this is an old thread, but I think you should recheck the hook up between the cable spring and the adjusting lever in your second photo! Check out my attachment.
