Changing out the clutch - What parts will I need?
So, I apologize for my lack of knowledge on the subject, but this is my learning opportunity. My truck is a 1997 2.3L I4. The drivetrain is bone stock.
My slave cylinder recently went out, now the truck won't go into gear. I bought a master/slave cylinder kit, and upon inspection by my buddy, who is a ford mechanic, we found that the tranny will need to be pulled to replace the slave. So, since we've got it out, the clutch will need to be changed as well.
My question is: What do I need? I know I will need a clutch and pressure plate, but will I need a throwout bearing? Anything else? I'm gonna change the tranny fluid while we are at it as well. I appreciate all the help in advance.
