Default Help I cannot get into 4-low...

I have been reading the forums for a while now and just decided to post. I bought a 1988 Ford Ranger 4x4. My problem is I cannot figure out how to get it in 4-low. There is no stick inside and there are no buttons. There are lockouts on the front wheels to get it into 4 wheel drive. I have taken a few pics so maybe someone could help me out.

A Pic of my truck. I bought it 3 days ago for $850

Not sure if this tells you guys anything but here it is

This plug is just hanging loose, where does it go?

Is a vacuum line supposed to be here?

I think it is just holding that plate on lol, I have looked all over the transfer case and cannot find any kind of shift linkage. So my guess is somehow its electronic or vacuum controlled.

----------

Do you have any idea what that plug does that I took a pic of? Its right above the transfer case but I cannot find anywhere to plug it in

OK After some research while at work I found out that I have a 1350 transfer case. That is supposed to be shifted electronically but there is no case motor attached. That is what that large connector goes to. SO I guess now I need to know if I can somehow shift this transfer case without that motor somehow.

Thank you to all that chimed in. I figured it out. There is a threaded stud sticking out the side of the case. It has a flat spot on it, I stuck an adjustable wrench on it and it turned and put the truck in 4 low. Thanks again. No need to buy anything I'll just keep the wrench in the truck
