Default Gearing

Hello I have a 1998 ford ranger 4wd and was wonder how hard would it be tO go to 4:10 gearing for some bigger tires. I believe it's an 8.8 rear end with 3.73 gears stock

Default Re: Gearing

not to hard, but not to easy. best thing to do is find a parts truck to get the gearing from. You will need gears front and rear and would be simplest to swap out the front diff and the rear end. To buy gears and have them installed can get pricey
