Default clutch question

i just pulled my transmission out again but this time to replace the pilot bearing bc it went out after less than 10,000 miles. my question is about my clutch

this is my pressure plate its got some grooves in it should i worry about that? they aren't deep but they are there

and i don't remember what it looked like when i put it on but this is enough clutch to use it again right?

4wd is like a condom. i'd rather have it and not need it rather tan needing it and not having it!

Judging on on the look of that pressure plate, I would replace it. Since you have the clutch pulled, I would change it too. It doesn't look like it has much life left and since it did that to your pressure plate, I wouldn't trust it.

is that some kinda puck clutch...? i would also say replace both. see about snagging an HD pressure plate. I put one in my 96 and its great, it "feels" like it grips tighter. could be my head tho

Agreed, why tear into to it in a year to replace the parts you now know are near the end of their lifespan.
