Default Is this how a lockout hub pulls - what missing?

Hi- I'm new to this forum and new to Rangers. I purchased a '96 XLT 4 X 4 18 months ago. Recently when I started to brake the truck would pull to the left. Today I pulled the front left tire to look at the brakes and the lock-out hub came with it. I found two washer/spacers and pieces to another. Also, there are 5 or 6 small shoulders that appear to have been partially knocked off. Previous 4X4's that I've had did not tear down like this. My Hanes was of no help and did not contain an exploded view to compare to. Any help and suggestions will be appreciated. I need to work quickly as rain is moving in this evening and I have to work outside. I have placed some pics in a folder under my profile. Thanks again.

Found a Chilton's which was more helpful. Also found through more research that this is the way a hub pulls off- that the manual lock out is contained in a backing plate. The spacers are just that. Also found an exploded view thanks to The Ranger Station.

I'm going to have to start a thread on the brake issue though if changing the pads doesn't fix things.
