Default 2010 Ranger gets rear disc brakes!
just read this on RPS, was wondering if anyone else has seen/hears about this. heck yeah, it this is true, time for a conversion to 10' brakes

im not sure if its true or false yet..

EDIT: Nevermind, i found out its TRUE!!!!!!!!

this is from the ford ranger website on Ford.com



it clearly states that it has rear discs brakes!!! (well you can really see it that well but its there) just go to here to see it:

Hooray! Too bad they killed the FX4, making the option of rear discs now - right before the truck is killed off - completely pointless, unless we convert our existing trucks as you mentioned.

said the same thing for 2009...and they didnt come rear disc...

only way to ACTUALLY confirm is see a 2010 in person.



I suspect it was added because the anti-roll control system required it.

the RPS post had a pic. and yeah, i think hears something about ACS...

Speaking of which my clutch feels weird in the morning after a cold night. I think the slave is going to go out again. This time I'll change the line from the master to the slave along with the slave.
