Default Dana35 Bearing lock ring

While rotating tires, I pulled the Warn hub off just for a look see. I found that the outer spindle nuts had backed off but the retaining washers had remained pinned to the inner nuts and were still wedged in the spindle keyway so the bearing preloads was not lost. Felt very lucky to find it before losing the bearings.
I am looking for a better way to hold the outer nut from coming loose. I know that Warn had a set of nuts and lock ring set up for set screws thru the outer nut into the ring but has discontinued manufacturing these. Has anyone seen or heard of something similar? Also, has anyone tried Locktite on the cleaned threads? How about a second lock ring with an internal key to fit the spindle keyway and a series of external tabs to be bent into the outer lock nut socket keys? To me this seems an easy and cheap fix. High torque on the outer nut really is not a good reliable fix.

a quick google search resulted in all these

i helped a friend install the stage 8 kit on his truck, and was going to buy it for my d35 hubs when the time came, but ended up going a different route.
Why does everyone think prerunners just jump stuff?

I have had mine do this a couple times. But I check mine regularly. Hasn't seemed to be an issure for me in quite a while.
