kinda what I thought. I didn't think to check the warranty, I don't even know what my warranty is.

at least you have that going for you, I know repairs could be costly but the fact that they turned you away with a pat on the should an "its ok, the truck has growing pains, its normal" is utter B-S. had the same deal with my 2011... the clutch was constantly squeaking and I didnt even hit 1,000 miles, the dealership told me that the noise wasnt annoying enough for the tech to do something about it, yeah like the tech is going to drive my truck everyday and hear it. PPPPPPfffffffffft, my experience, Ford Ranger, great product, shitty ass service. I would confront the garage to see what is really going on before you have top pay a to truck and look oblivious because you literally didnt know ( hope it doesnt go that far for you though)

Nothing, I filed a complaint after my father had fixed the clutch and the dealership washed my truck for free to compensate

Sooo... How many more times are they going to wash your truck? One washing isn't squat...

I'd would start looking for another dealer to work with. I don't think Ford is the problem, just the dealer.

Bumping an old thread here.
Took the truck in for the second time to get this issue fixed. I drove a second tech around and re-created the sound and he agreed with me that it didnt sound normal. He couldnt figure out what it was.
Original tech worked on it again and said that the trans mount wasn't installed correctly, he installed it "correctly" and sent me on my way saying that it would fix it.
drove it 2-3 miles and was perfectly fine. stopped at the apartment real quick and when i left, sure enough, issue is back!
This is driving me nuts! and i wish i could figure it out!

tmoore, I have the same issue with an auto. I'll head outside in a bit and check all of the above (e.g., tranny mounts, diff play). Crawling under my truck is the last thing i want to do right now considering its 91 degrees and humid as all hell, and I'm nursing a hangover. I know I should stay away from the double IPA's, I just cant!

well hopefully you can find something. I can't figure it out, "neither can ford". it's really frustrating to have a 4 yr old truck that does this. really considering trading it in lol
