To Flush Or Not To Flush
I recently bought a 2000 Ford Ranger (4wd, Supercab, 3.0l) with 73,000 miles.
I'd be interested in opinions related to if I should have my automatic transmission flushed, or to just have the fluid and filter changed.

x2. If you are not having any problems or rough shifting I would go with a regular service.

Do not flush a good working transmission, you flush when ready to rebuild for ease of disassembly and then flush cooler and lines before new tranny in.
