You could use the stock arm, but I drove with one with the stock arm and it was more reach then I wanted.
oh ok so basically ill have to take off the extension thats on their right now that came with the BL kit and not use it anymore. But due to the way the hurst kit is setup it will still clear just fine without the extension from the bodylift, but the arm that comes with the hurst isn't very comfortable and is a long reach. So you bought the longer arm seperately and ended up liking it alot better.

AM I getting the jist of it?

Just be super super careful with the seal and you shouldn't have any issues with leaking. Take your time. Because its pretty easy to get the seal caught on one of the 4 bolts when your tightening them! Just tighten each one a few revolutions at a time and you should be fine

As for road noise, its noticeable but not that bad. A few guys have used some carpet backing or dynamat"snakes" under the boot and said it helped a lot. Personally I just turn the stereo up lol!

You might be able to call and order it with the longer arm instead, but I am not sure.
could you post the link of summit racing shifter you bought?
