Default Auburn LS w/ worm gear at 60lbs.or Detroit Locker.

Does anyone have any experience with eater diff. im hearing the detroit lockers aren't the best under wet conditions and after time the auto engage gives out and you get a full time locker keeping in mind that this will be my daily driver and im running 35'' with 4.56 gears on a 3.0 5 speed
im also hearing that the locker get loud after time it will start making a that clicking popping sound does anyone have any feed back im ready to buy but i cant make up my mind.

i have the auburn gear LS and its a very good unit so far. it performs much better than the stock trac-loc LS. i cant comment on the detroit locker because i dont have one but compairing a locker to a limited slip is like apples and oranges. each have there pro's and con's but they do totally different things. i can say though that if the truck is mainly used on teh road then a LS might be the better and cheaper option.
