Default HELP!! 28 spline 8.8 axles?

does anyone know a good place to find 28 spline 8.8 axles mine are pitted and continue to blow axle tube seals. does anyone have a good set of axles or perhaps a whole axle, in California preferably. my last resort would be to pay retail for new ones and that aint very cheap and my whole truck has been a budget daily driver and weekend warrior. any help tips website leads would be appreciated. thanks ya'll.

I got a new one for 140 from the dealer. The original one in the 8.8 I swapped was no good. I sprung on the axle because i beleive its safer to be sure about the item you are buying.

Another option would be an offset "rapair" bearing kit. It moves the bearing and seal farther out on the shaft to a cleaner area. I've installed them on rangers before with good results for much cheaper than replacing the entire shaft.

yea all great ideas guys but when i say limited im so stretched tight i cant afford more than 100 an axle plus seals and oil. the bearings should still be fine they were done in november and no major haulin or wheelin since but the pitted axles chewed the seals. how hard is it to change the 8.8 seals. (like the only thing i havent looked at or built myself sheesh)

You can change out the seal (will still require you to drain and replace the fluid) but you will still have the same issue again down the road so in order to fix it you will need to either replace the axle and seal (expensive) or use an offset repair bearing (less expensive) either way its going to cost money.
