Default humming/whistling sound, HELP

aight guys, got this sound that seems to be getting worse as the miles go on.

started about 500 miles ago, first off, heres the video.

only when its under load, as in, im accelerating, or have a steady pressure on the gas pedal. The second I let off, it goes away, as you will notice in the video.

I have rotated tires, checked all u joints (just put new ones in about 1500 miles ago) checked all intake tubes, air filter, everything under the hood. etc.

after taking this video, and comparing it to what i hear in cab, i can say without much doubt its coming from the rear somewhere.

any ideas? had the tires off, drum covers off the other night when i was inspecting the rear brakes and nothing looked outta palce (sound was already occuring when i did this)

hopefully someone has some ideas. if not, i hope to be getting it in to my dealer this week or next week for its oil change, and maybe they can help me out.

but i need help asap as i have to go to work friday for 3 days and ill be putting on about 350 miles. and with it getting worse, i wanna solve it, or at least know what it is before then

Sounds like a dry bearing? Anyone else have an idea?

im thinking pinion bearing maybe?

doesnt seem to have any play in it, but that could just be because its sitting on the ground, with the driveshaft still connected at the front.

I have zero experience with differential problems. I've read the shop manuals on them (about 12 different vehicles) and want nothing to do with taking them apart. Maybe just a flush and refill will do?

Makes shopping for a replacement rear end out of a junkyard look pretty good. Put it in yourself in a couple of hours and enjoy all the beer money saved!
