Default Adjusting the friction zone of the clutch?

Like the tile says, I would like to adjust the point at witch the clutch begins to grab. There isn't any issue with how it is now. It works just fine.
I would prefer that the clutch engages soon after bringing the pedal off the floor. Right now the pedal is almost all the way out before the clutch begins to engage.
Like I said, there is nothing wrong with it, I would just prefer that it engages sooner.

Is there a way to adjust this and if so, how do I do it?

Thanks.

It doesn't need new plates. The clutch is in good condition.
I was just wondering if there was a way to adjust it.
It's just a personal preference of mine.

Mine is like that to but its because i have a slow leak. But when i fill the cup up it engages farther out. Gives me more pedal. Check the fluid level.
