Angry clutch problems

sorry do not know how to post yet but if you would i am haing a problem. i had just swapped the engine on my 2.5l 99 4banger and replaced the slave cylinder and throw out bearing during this process . drive 600 miles and my clutch pedal drops to the floor. now i dnt get it . when i checked the reservoir i was low on fluid and gravity bled the cylinder and pucmped the cylinder until purged the entire system,. my clutch wont engage ,. i am not sure how this could be possible , if the slave cylinder iis not pressing against the pressure plate when i push the clutch down but its getting pressure cause i can bleed it ,does that mean its bad or would that be a cylinder malfunction leaving me with no prime. trying to make a tranny drop last option if possible.

----------

word of advice the the cyinder disconneced from my clutch peddle on mine with a 4 point plastic clip that is not fun to take out , afler removing the clip some friendly light grip vice grips grabbed the outside of the cylinder tand let me line up the square hole by turning it , i say that because i spent 30 mins on each move before i found the best method kinda cramped up there, also o rings aparently have to be perfect in size, the first two i tried didnt wana take one was too fat and didnt wana clip"at the slave cylinder hard line connection" and the second was to thin and let fluid drip out the connection. look fr this as well. the movies cover everything else pretty much
