Small leaking between transmission and driveshaft?
Hey everyone. I found a small leak where the end of the transmission and beginning of the drive shaft is. I don't if it could be a seal or something but would love to know. I found a picture on line that can describe what I'm talking about. Thanks.
Where that red ring is at, that is where I see small red dots appear under that. PS. My drive shaft and the end of my transmission looks just like that in the picture.

Re: Small leaking between transmission and driveshaft?
What the hell kind of transmission is that? Automatic? Manual?
Either way, that red ring is your output shaft seal. If there's fluid there, it needs to be replaced. Luckily for you, it's not hard at all to do. You just have to carefully set it in or else it won't seal right.

Yeah, it's not dripping from there bottom I believe it's coming out of it and dripping on the bottom of the seal. So hopefully, when my dad comes home from overseas, me and him can drop the drive shaft and fix this seal. Oh and still have that small oil leak still lol. I'm going to try and kick myself over there to Mr. Tires this weekend with my sis and give them hell. My dad called me up and I told him this. He is saying what everyone else is saying to me, "tell them to fix it, or sue"! HAHA.

Sounds like a plan.
Do you have an automatic or a manual?

No, I found that online through Google and the drive shaft in the beginning and the end of the transmission looks exactly what I have underneath my truck.
