Default What Gears for a 1999 Ranger with 35"

I need to know what gears to put in my ranger because as of now its stock and being manual and with the lift and larger tires going through the gears just doesnt feel right.

Stock 3.0 gearing even at its highest of 4.10 gearing isnt enough to CORRECTLY pull 35s.

like FRA said 4:10 will not be enough, 4:56 - 4:88 should get you in the ball park

I dont like how my 4.10 gearing is with my 33's and 5spd. Even with the 4.0. Im gonna get me some 4.56 most likely. Im gonna get some 35's for wheelin when i switch gears. I would go with 4.88 but i'll still be running the 33's to.

Depends on what your gonna use your truck for to.

Yeah i drove a manual 4.0 with 33s and it seemed really weak to me. My auto 4.0 with 31s seemed way more powerful. The 33s make it feel like a 3.0 to me

running 33's and 4.56 is perfect, as for running 35's 4.88 is minimum at best, that's what I have for now until my 5.19's come in.
