i have a 01 ranger edge 3.0 5-speed. it has this problem where the whole gear box freezes up. i cant shift put it in any gear just stuck. But when i get on the clutch pedal and release it very fast it works again for like a month. then it freezes up on me out of no ware. i had the master cylinder replaced and now i might have to get the slave cylinder replaced. with the clutch. does this sound like a transmission problem to anyone or a slave cylinder problem. feedback would be most thankful. thank you

slave is prolly taking a dump.. ranger slave cyl suck

ya so i heard :/ thank you thats what my mechanic said too. after he replaced the master lol

Slave #5, Master #2, Trans #3....god damn this is getting old.
