sounds like you need to bring the truck back to who ever fixed your transmission. a blinking OD light normally indicates a malfunction in the transmission.

I agree with Patrick. Take it back. They didn't fix your problem.

Read this too, it helps keep you from getting walked over when stuff like this happens.

I just developed this problem after mudding around in first gear near the redline, then reverse stopped working for a while, so did D, 1 and 2 worked though. After some time off, it returned to normal, with no blinking lights but very jerky shifting.

Well, "Bad" doesn't really help me a lot. :/ Do you think that the whole transmission is bad? or just the Torque Converter?

Not sure, haven't got it checked yet. Looking to convert it though to AWD. I realize you can't help if I don't know the code. I will be sure to post it here when I do know though.

Yes, sorry bad habit for using them interchangeably. And I said near redline, so high RPMs, and I did to keep the power there, I didn't wish to get stuck.

Get us the code and we'll see what we can do to get ya goin again. Meanwhile, under what conditions does it shift rough? Always, only going up hills, only while downshifting, only during upshifting, etc?

Only upshifting, and when the engine is warmed up. Cold engine its fine (Weird)

So the O/D Off light isn't blinking, but the trans is shifting rough? What gears does it shift rough through?

Everyone I hear from says Valve Body or Torque Converter. It only happens when "Hot" aka mudding or long rough driving
