Ford Ranger 2009 EU version and RFW
I just bought a 2009 Ford Ranger (EU VERSION, I live in Europe).
I am new to this kind of car and I'm buffled by the RFW thing...
When I start my car in 2WD the RFW Lock automatically lights up, should it? (I can turn it off with the RFW button)
When I switch to 4WD the RFW Lock is always there and I cant turn it off with RFW button. The reason why I wanna do this is I want to have a normal AWD car while driving a snowy terrain on pretty high speeds (upto 100km/h-120km/h), as I was told by Ford I can not drive on fast speeds with RFW on. What I essentially want is a car which behaves like a normal AWD SUV (X5, GL, ML etc etc etc) - IS IT POSSIBLE?
Is it possible to have the wheels rotate independantly, not locking each other out?
